Strange Lights Light Bright (2009)

This album was released in November of 2009 and a real breakthrough for the band. With Wunderground Studio at their disposal and help from Jono Manson from Santa Fe as well as Brad Smalling at Evergroove studio the technical side of this album had the help it needed to sound fantastic. This album included Ethan Blumenhein on Drums and of course Lonny and Deb whom sang, and played guitar and bass, as well as keys and various percussion tracks. Elisha McArthy played the violin track on Fly Home and Yvette Jackson on trumpet in Mr. Wonderful. Tedd Brumm played on Mandolin in Liturgy. From commitment to creation the Light Bright album was about 2 years in the making. Though the Wunderground Studio in Crestone Colorado had been physically built, the recording equipment needed significant and expensive upgrades to make recording this album possible. With exception of the drum tracks and the guitar and bass on Baby's Lookin tracks, the rest of the track recording, song arrangement and ruff mix were done by Lonny Roth, Jono Manson was responsible for recording drums on all tracks and the guitar and bass on Baby's Lookin, as well as helping to set up and initial organization of Wunderground studio. Brad Smalling from Evergroove was responsible for the final mix and David Glasser at Airshow Mastering did the final mastering.

Strange Matters DVD/CD (2007)

Strange Matters was derived from a live show at Andolini's pub in Golden Colorado who was at that time sponsoring the Colorado Rocks show and the people behind it. The Colorado Rocks show recorded live sound and video of a full set in November of 2006 and put Travelin Man on their public television show. The DVD is available on the SL merch page and The CD is available at itunes and CDbaby. After the show we checked out the video and thought it was great. Lonny decided to edit the video and spent many hours editing and grabbing bits of public domain films to add bits of psychedelia and zombie clips as well as old NASA film and other footage. It is the first musical endeavor that we experimented with our sense of humor in the music as well. There are six songs on the DVD and a bonus track on the CD.

Kaleidoscope (2004)

This album was self produced. Though an attempt at our first professional album this CD was not found acceptable to most radio stations or other professional submissions. Highlights of this album include nice arrangements on most songs and many locally and nationally known artists that helped us with this project. Artists on this album include Peter (Hector) Marks on Drums, Bob O'Connor on Mandolin and Keyboards, Mikee T (Michael Teirnan) on some guitar tracks, Jim Bowie (Banjo Master), Michael Barash, Stephen Blount, and the final album for Glider Green (Tom Tucker) former member of Strange Lights.

Other Strange Lights music There is lots of miscellaneous Strange Lights music out there. On the web site alone there are a multitude of free downloads, many cover songs and originals, however the listener must be warned that the quality of these recordings may vary wildly from professional studio recordings to live bar and practice sessions and may be many years old. Some of this music is just for fun and by the number of downloads per month it is easy to see that many people enjoy them, although we question whether it is embarrasing to have them out there. Some of the people we have enjoyed working with on these old songs were Nathan Good on Drums, Tedd Brumm, Dennis Neuhaus, Robert Edsel, Kepher Pez, Glider Green, and probably many more.
